A Collaborative, Strengths-Based and Mindful Approach to Counseling
With over 25 years of experience practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and overall self-doubt due to a variety of life experiences and transitions they've faced. Many of my clients appear to “have it all together,” yet often feel stuck, struggling to trust their own thoughts and feelings, make decisions and/or find joy in life.
My style is collaborative, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered. I draw from practices informed by mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy, allowing for a greater focus on slowing down, becoming more present with and curious about what’s happening in the present moment. Together, we will find new ways to respond to life’s challenges, and over time, many clients report they feel less anxious, more content and more confident.
