A Collaborative, Strengths-Based and Mindful Approach to Counseling
With over 25 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and overall self-doubt due to many different life experiences and transitions they've faced. Many of my clients appear to “have it all together,” yet often feel stuck internally as they struggle to trust their own thoughts and feelings, make decisions and/or find joy in their life.
My style is collaborative, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered. I draw from practices informed by mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy, allowing for a greater focus on slowing down, becoming more present with and curious about what’s happening right now in the mind and body. Together, we will identify new ways to respond to life’s challenges, and over time, many clients report they feel lighter, more content and more confident.
